Meet Our StaffPeter Bentz, PTPeter Bentz, PT is the owner and President of Bentz Physical Therapy. He dreamed of having a rehab clinic of the highest quality without the corporate atmosphere that often distracts from the personal, patient oriented service that each client deserves. He has worked very hard to make that dream come true. Peter graduated from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1979. He worked at Medical Plaza Hospital for 7 years and earned the award of Most Valued Employee in 1981. He later developed and managed the Fort Worth Sports Rehabilitation Center and then opened Bentz Physical Therapy in 1992. He has worked with numerous professional athletes, coached AAU and recreational youth sports for 12 years and is very active in his church. He enjoys spending time with his family, snow skiing and playing golf or basketball. Monica Moseley, MSPTMonica Moseley, MSPT graduated from Texas Woman's University in 2003. She went on to further her career through specialized training in manual therapy. She incorporates this knowledge and skill when treating orthopedic conditions that require joint mobilization, and stretching to get the best possible results. Outside of work, Monica is very active at her church and enjoys spending time with her family, her 2 cats and her dog. Lisa Mocek, MPTLisa Mocek, MPT graduated at the top of her class from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2004. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, and is highly skilled to treat a wide variety of orthopedic problems, pre and post surgical conditions, and sports or work related injuries. In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and volunteering in the community. Misty Thomason, MPTMisty Thomason, MPT graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX in May 2007 with a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She enjoys working with her patients and is dedicated to providing the best possible care she can to patients of all ages. She joined Bentz Physical Therapy in 2007. In her free time, Misty enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and working around her home. Jeff Rau, PT MS MPT CFMT FAAOMPTJeff Rau, PT MS MPT CFMT FAAOMPT is recognized as a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and American Physical Therapy Association. He specializes in nerve, soft tissue, bone and joint and movement assessment and re-education, and he is fluent in Spanish. Jeff earned a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Arkansas in 1990, and a Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas in 2000. He has enjoyed helping people of many different ages and backgrounds to recuperate, from industrial workers to professional and Olympic athletes, and elderly to young. While working in orthopedics and sports medicine and with extensive additional training he completed a certification in functional manual therapy, and then a post-graduate fellowship program in manual physical therapy. He loves to spend time with his family, church activities and the outdoors including fishing and the martial arts. Heath Dittfurth, DPTHeath Dittfurth, DPT graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX in 2009 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. He enjoys treating all types of orthopedic conditions, including sports and work related injuries. In his spare time, Heath values spending time with his wife and two children, being active in his church, running and playing sports and working around his house. Jason Racca, PT, DPT, CFMTGraduated from Hardin Simmons University in December of 2007 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree. In August of 2010 he earned his Functional Manual Therapy certification through the Institute of Physical Art. Jason specializes in manual physical therapy, and he enjoys treating all orthopedic conditions, which include joint, muscle/soft tissue, nerve, motor re-education, and more. Jason is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Jason has worked with all types of patients including high school athletes, chronic pain, an occasional neurological patient, and even professional dancers in touring shows such as Mary Poppins and High School Musical. Jason is married to his lovely wife, Elizabeth and enjoys spending time with her and their dog Lucy. Jason is also active in his church and in his spare time enjoys training and competing in triathlons Ryan O’Malley, PT, DPTRyan graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in May 2009 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree. He enjoys working with pre and post surgical, orthopedic, trauma, sports, and work related injuries. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and he is currently working to fulfill the requirements for his Orthopedic Specialty Certification. In his leisure time, he is very active and he enjoys playing sports, going to the lake and spending time outdoors with his wife. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate each patient's busy schedule. |
